SEDEX is one of the world’s leading ethical trade membership organizations. It aims to improve working conditions in global supply chains from social, environmental, and financial perspectives. SEDEX encourages supplier companies to create a sustainable work environment, increase environmental awareness, and comply with principles of social justice. SMETA is SEDEX’s social auditing methodology that evaluates working conditions in supply chains and provides companies with insights into supplier performance. Bade Halı is a SEDEX member organization that undergoes SMETA audits.

OEKO-TEX® has been a global standard for the quality of raw, semi-finished, and finished textile products and accessories used at all stages of textile production since 1992. The OEKO-TEX Standard 100 aims to assure consumers that labeled textile products have been tested in laboratories for a wide range of harmful substances and that the levels of these substances remain below the limit values established by the OEKO-TEX Association. Bade Halı manufactures products that are certified according to the OEKO-TEX standard.

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international, voluntary, and comprehensive product standard that defines requirements for recycled content, chain of custody, social and environmental practices, and chemical restrictions. It applies to the processing, manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and distribution of all products containing a minimum of 20% recycled materials. The primary objective of the GRS is to promote the increased use of recycled materials in products. Bade Halı produces its products in compliance with the GRS framework.

The voluntary supply chain security program, C-TPAT, was launched in 2001 and is known as a program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection. Brands wishing to join this system quickly complete C-TPAT audits to become members. Our company, Bade Halı, is a C-TPAT member.
